Zenit takes a dramatic win over Loko at home

The first home game of the 2023 for Zenit was against Lokomotiv-Kuban. The opponents recently let Willis go and signed three players in December which are Akoon-Percell, Gray and Horton. For Akoon-Percell it was a debut game for Lokomotiv.

Zenit started the game in style as we got +10 in the first quarter. But the rest of the periods were not that easy for our team. Loko won the second one +5, and though Zenit started the third quarter really strong and immediately went to +16, Krasnodar team wasn’t ready to surrender.

The opponents fought hard and entered the clutch time with a chance to win, but Zenit managed to keep the win as Barford missed the potentially winning shot. 73-71, a win is a win!
