Zenit starts bronze series with a confident win over CSKA

We started this fight for bronze medals in Moscow as CSKA finished the regular season higher. Home team couldn’t count on Alexey Shved who was attacked in Moscow by hooligans, and Zenit also lacked its starting point guard as Thomas Heurtel felt pain in his leg.
Thpugh, our team didn’t feel the absence of one of its best players as Adrien Moerman and Caleb Homesley were on fire today. Adrien helped out team grab the first lead early in the second quarter, and then Zenit never looked back. We won 86-68 and now lead in the series – 1-0.
