Thank you, Sergey!
Sergey Vozniuk, who worked as an assistant coach at Zenit for the last three years, is leaving our team upon contract expiration.
Sergey Vozniuk, former Zenit assistant coach:
— These three years in Saint Petersburg brought a lot of bright moments. My baby was born here, here we became champions. I call this city a home now, I have a lot of friends here, with whom I’ll continue to talk even after I leave.
I gained a great experience for these 2,5 years working with Xavi Pascual. There are the kind of moments you remember. I’m sure that there years will have am impact on how I think on basketball court in future. And thank a lot for Zenit fans who supported the team both at home and away.
Big thanks to the bosses of Zenit, they gave me a chance and believed in me. Also, thanks to the coaching staff, doctors, office workers. And we had a great group of players, too, they all always worked hard. We won the league, and it’s a special moment that you always want to memorise. It will always be nice to come back to Saint Petersburg.
Sergey Vozniuk was working at Zenit since summer 2019. With the team, he debuted in Euroleague and won VTB United League this year.
We thank Sergey for the time he spent here and wish him a successful further career!
