Pascual couldn’t go to Saratov, team lost to Avtodor

Zenit went to Saratov with a short roster as four players were out due to injuries and illness. Plus, head coach Xavi Pascual and his assistant Inigo Zorzano couldn’t go, too, and stayed in Saint Petersburg.
Without key players, our team tried everything but lost to Avtodor – 79:91. The crucial run was made in the end of the third quarter when the hosts earned a 16-point advantage and never trailed since then.
Vitaly Fridzon finished the game with 22 pts, Thomas Heurtel added 11 pts and 12 assists, Sergey Karasev scored 13 pts.
Next game is on Friday against Enisey Krasnoyarsk.
