BC Zenit Head Coach Xavier Pascual:

Congratulations to Real Madrid on the victory, they were much better than us. In the first 20 minutes we played on equal terms, but after a few free throws that we didn’t score, the hosts managed to take the lead. We were not as efficient as we would like. It is a reality that we cannot compete with Real Madrid at the moment. To play at the level that Real Madrid plays at, you need to have a full squad. We didn’t have 5 people today. This is not an excuse, this is a statement of fact. We keep going in 4th place and getting ready to play against the next opponent.
