A narrow defeat for Zenit in Kazan

This season started for our team with a narrow defeat at home against UNICS Kazan. On December, 11th, Zenit aimed for a revenge on the road.

The whole game was really competitive, with Zenit leading 6 pts at max through the 40 minutes. UNICS also had no long streaks as the home team was never leading in the first half and had a minor lead through the second one. Though, the opponents caught fire in the middle of the fourth quarter which game them a handicap that later handed a win – 95:94.

Thomas Heurtel finished the game with a usual double-double of 21 pts and 11 assists. Caleb Homesley added 18 pts and 6 rebounds, 16 pts and 4 boards were added by Thomas Wimbush.

Next game is against Avtodor in Saratov on December, 18th. Go, Zenit!
