The preseason preparation schedule of Zenit

The main roster of Zenit has officially exited the offseason and completed its initial training session. Here’s the preseason preparation schedule for our team.

The squad will practice at the Basketball Academy Zenit until August 26th and wrap up this phase of preparation with a friendly match against the Superleague team Kupol-Rodniki. On August 28th, Zenit will travel to Antalya, where we’ll practice until the 9th and engage in friendly matches against the Turkish team Manisa (champions of the Turkish league’s second division in 2022, participants in the nation’s premier championship) and participate in the customary preseason Gloria Cup tournament. The opponents will include the Turkish teams Besiktas and Anadolu Efes, along with Russian team Enisey.

After Antalya, the team will journey to Istanbul, where they’ll face off against Fenerbahce in a friendly match on September 11th. Later that evening, Zenit will return to Saint Petersburg and continue preseason preparations with training sessions at the Academy and preseason tournaments:

September 15-16 – Kondrashin and Belov Cup

September 22-24 – VTB United League Supercup

A reminder that the official season for the blue and white team will commence on October 2 with a home match against VTB United League newcomers, Yekaterinburg’s Uralmash.
