American players Billy Baron, Jordan Loyd and Jordan Mickey, in the status of VTB United League champions, leave our club by agreement of the parties, as well as at the end of their contracts.

In two seasons in the Zenit jersey, Billy played 115 games in the VTB United League and the Euroleague and scored 1,287 points. The opponent always knew that it was not worth waiting for Billy in the starting five, but if he appeared, then we definitely need to prepare for a hail of three-point bombs.

Billy is the highest example of professionalism. The first one coming to the gym and the last one leaving it. The lover of joking and giving his Hollywood smile to his fans will always be remembered in St. Petersburg!

For 1 season in the blue-white jersey, Loyd played 50 games and scored 637 points. It was difficult to predict the development of the attack when Jordan had the ball in his hands. Emotional, sometimes even impulsive, Loyd never let himself or his opponents down, and often went out to play with minor injuries.

Jordan Mickey came to Zenit with already existing experience of playing in the VTB United League. Add here the years in the NBA and in the Euroleague and we will get a cornerstone for any team that sets itself the highest goals.

Like Baron, Jordan entered the symbolic top five players of the United League Super Cup. Block shots, interceptions, safety net, rebounds on your shield – everything related to defense is in Mickey’s arsenal at the elite level. The Zenit forward was recognized as the best defending player of the United League at the end of the regular season. In the regular season that ended, Jordan Mickey played 13 games, in which he averaged 13.5 points and made 4.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists. The forward turned out to be the best in Zenit in interceptions (1.2), and the St. Petersburg team became the second in the regular season in defense, conceding an average of only 74.0 points per match.

The recognition of experts and the love of fans contributed to the fact that Jordan was selected to participate in the All-Star Game in the starting five, where he became one of the best players.

Mickey was name the MVP of the victorious playoffs for Zenit. In 14 games, he averaged 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 28 minutes on the court.

For 1 season at Zenit, Mickey played 51 games and scored 613 points. The confidence that the Texan man, charged teammates to fight and weakened opponents very much. Video cameras have always been looking for Mickey, rightly expecting colorful episodes that distinguished #55 Zenit.
