Zenit parts ways with Arturas Gudaitis

The club and the big man, 28, decided to terminate the contract early by agreement of the parties.

The player joined Zenit in the summer of 2020. Arturas had a great debut season in the blue-white jersey, most of it as the main center of the team. Unfortunately, a sudden injury did not allow him to help Zenit in the decisive playoff games. In the 2020-21 season, the Lithuanian center played 48 games for our club: 31 games in the Euroleague (9.7 points, 4 rebounds and 12.8 EFF) and 17 in the United League (11.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 13.1 EFF). At the end of the season, the contract with the center was extended until the summer of 2023.

This season, the center took part in 17 Euroleague games (6.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 0.8 assists) and 8 games in the United League (7.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 0.5 assists).

In total, Gudaitis played 72 games with Zenit, in which he scored 652 points, made 303 rebounds, 43 assists, 31 steals and 51 blockshots.
